How far do you travel?
I include travel within 30 miles of Stevenage in all my packages. If you are located further afield please still get in touch for a personalised quote.
When should I book my newborn shoot?
For newborn sessions I recommend getting in contact after you've had your 20 week scan, we will pencil in your due date and wait patiently for baby to arrive before finalising your session date and time.
How old should baby be for our newborn shoot?
Within the first 2 weeks is advised to get those sleepy shots. However, every experience is different and you may not feel comfortable having your session straight away. We can still capture beautiful photos whatever the age of your baby.
How do I prepare my home for a session?
Firstly you do not need to have an immaculate home, I understand what it's like having young children and living in the postpartum bubble. I also want to capture your family honestly.
I will ask that you have the areas of your home with good lighting tidy and free of clutter. These areas usually include the lounge, main bedroom, nursery or kitchen. Every home is different but we will have a chat before I arrive to establish these areas.
What should we wear?
I recommend keeping colours to a neutral palette, try and have your outfits coordinated this doesn't mean that everyone has to match. I recommend coordinated colours and consider different textures for interest.
The neutral colour palette helps to keep the interest of the photo on your faces and expressions without distraction and helps your photos look timeless in years to come. I am happy to help you beforehand with ideas if you'd like some inspiration.
What are your payment terms?
I request a £50 deposit upon booking to secure your date and time. The final balance is then due one week prior to your photoshoot.
When will we receive our photos?
You will receive an email with a link to view your digital gallery between 2-3 weeks after your session.
